I agree that wc is not a style but a method. If you are attacked its up to you what you are going to do and everyones reaction will be different. It does not take long to learn wc but takes years to master it so I feel that bruce learned it and did not master it, that is why he was not satisfied with it. JKD has more tools to use and no sets or katas to learn so the learning curve is shorter.

 

Both arts has something to offer but i do believe that when im 60 my wc will be better than it is now and im not sure if i will be able to do the jkd stuff when im an old man.

 

Its personal choice

Where Art ends, nature begins.

Prehaps the intention in creating JKD was simply to communicate Bruce Lees ideas and not to try and create a new art - Just a thought.
