XMartial Arts_FighterX Posted June 8, 2003 Posted June 8, 2003 What is a effective way to speed up your kicks? Something a person could practice everday?
tommarker Posted June 8, 2003 Posted June 8, 2003 Build up your core muscles. Strong Abs make a big difference in being able to quickly chamber and re-chamber your kicking leg. Knee lifts are a good way of getting strong and faster. Basically, lift your knee to your chest, set it back down. As soon as your toe hits the ground, pull it back up. Repeat till you can't lift your leg, then switch legs I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
XMartial Arts_FighterX Posted June 9, 2003 Author Posted June 9, 2003 Hmm alright thx bud for the info more ppl post plz
Budderfly Posted June 9, 2003 Posted June 9, 2003 Shotgun kicks are a good way to increase speed and form. Try kicking multiple roundhouses (for example) with one leg (don't bring it down!) and hopping/moving forward with the other. Or stand stationary and do a few sets on each side every day.
SaiFightsMS Posted June 9, 2003 Posted June 9, 2003 This is the third time I have seen this exact same question by the same person. Please ask a question only one time and in one area of the forum.
