PhilM1
what do you like better street fighter or mortal kombat?(the originals) fight til you die
King of Fighters
The Mortal kombat series is crap. Only the first and second games were good and every other mk game sucked (although the new mk game, deadly alliance, is not too bad). Every street fighter game has been good, even though all its reincarnations are all pretty much the same except with better graphics.
monkeygirl
I agree with King of Fighters. Mortal Kombat is just plain boring. Street Fighter has tons of characters, and is a nice game to just pick up and play. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard. fireka
street fighter follows a solid anime theme and has characters who, if you study the story, have abit of depth, unlike the dietyish, warriors of mortal kombat who are impossible to conect with, we can feel compassion for balanka and his quest for his past, feel the passion of Ryu as he seeks self perfection, and can understand the patriotism of Zangief and Guile, even though they are enemies, we see there connection. im looking to deep i know, but im a fiction writer! what did you excpect! so i think, game play aside, that street fighter regins supreme simply based on story line. any one agree with that concept? "i could dance like that!.......if i felt like it...." -Master Betty
SandanPJ
street fighter... mortal kombat got old after a while.
WhiteBelt
I've only played the first few of each. Both get equally tiresome because there is limited gameplay and opponents. Later on SF seemed to get ahead because MK ended up like some lame Killer Instinct type game, while SF still seemed somewhat 'cool'.
Blade
SF's the better series by far, although i like the mk characters(scorpion, baraka, etc) better. Plus fatalities are a cool way to end a match
Pepparoo
The Mortal kombat series is crap. Do you remember the very 1st one, on the spectrum, when you could only play Ryu or Ken, and you could only do, like 4 moves haha. That was well good
King of Fighters
Well, actually now that you bring up that i said every street fighter game was good, i take that back. I should of said that every 2D street fighter has been good, because the couple of 3d ones that capcom made really blew ass.
Icetuete
both SF and MK are fun to play. but i played street fighter more often! looking forward to the new MK though because it really seems to rock!!
