well, there's also the fact that technically he had no right to teach in the beginning because he was just another student too.

 

that's part of why he had to have his own system.

Bruce Lee was a rebel to teh traditions.

 

Depending on your perspective it's a good and bad thing.

Plus I'm sure if he was teaching people, that means that he might potentially steal some of their current or future students. $$$

well i think the "teching to foreigners" would've annoyed the chinese more than stealing their money... it's a cultural thing.
