Treebranch Posted June 7, 2003 Posted June 7, 2003 I was under the impression that was the origin of the style, to be drunk while training. I am kinda joking about where's the booze count me in stuff. "It is easier to find men who will volunteer to die, than to find those who are willing to endure pain with patience.""Lock em out or Knock em out"

ZR440 Posted June 9, 2003 Posted June 9, 2003 That kind of training would be helpful for fighting over the last beer at a party. It's happy hour somewhere in the world.
Drunken Monkey Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 you don't fight for the last beer. you fight over who has to go and get some more! post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
mikS Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 I was under the impression that was the origin of the style, to be drunk while training. I am kinda joking about where's the booze count me in stuff. Actually, the idea of the art was to train you to deceive the enemy into thinking that you were drunk. If they thought you were drunk, they woudl hugely underestimate you, then the drunken boxer (who wasn't actually drunk) would kick their a$$.
