Tammy, I'm still at the simple cord stage LOL. I used to play drums, and wrote my own stuff, but not with guitar.

I write lots of music, but I can't sing so I rarely write full songs.

 

Here's a clip of me playing.

 

I wrote the arrangement, but its a popular tune that I'm sure you'll recognize.

Both of those were recorded on a crappy clip-on computer mic that clipped at rediculously low volumes. I have some good equipment now, but haven't recorded anything substantial with it.

I sometimes compose, but I prefer to compose on the piano, but sometimes I'll sit and knock out a wee composition on my guitar.

Yeah! i write my own stuff. Not lyrical stuff, i am a guitarist, and i am in a band. Just need bloody practiceing. Doing up a shed in my back garden for it. But yeah, start of nice and easy. I learned the basic chords first. Then ya get Gd7 and stupid things like that. also learn SOLO'S :P. Nah it all takes time. i ant great and i been learning for about a year
