WhiteBelt Posted June 2, 2003 Author Posted June 2, 2003 ... as for weapons, car keys, pagers, cell phones are all nice too. The hot coffee was proven by that McDonalds case. I'm still not convinced that CDs are all that great for throwing, but I've never given them the chance. If you put them in the microwave they make a nice distraction though.
Fenris-wolf Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003  This is so the best thread yet  Let Us Turn The Jump Rope In Accord With Socialist Principles!
monkeygirl Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 Well, CDs aren't good just as CDs. They have to be a little chipped up, and then they're as sharp as razors. Plus, you can draw on them with permanent markers if you get bored and make little designs. That way when you throw them at somebody or stick one in a cubicle wall, it's like your calling card...they know you were there. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.
battousai16 Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 from here on out, whenever i see a broken cd, i'm gonna think "monkeygirl!" and dodge both ways to make sure your not sneaking up on me with a kama or something... i don't know how good they are as a weapon, but i can tell you that once the cross country season starts and the coach has outlawed frisbees, the free discs with the aol minutes work as a nice supplement "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
tommarker Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 I know I already said the monitor cord (great for slashing) but phone cord would be even nastier, and would also be darn near indestructible due to the way it is constructed. I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
kajukenbo dad Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 Iam staying home myself............Good Luck..down at the office!!!!!!! Practice is the best of all instructors...
SaiFightsMS Posted June 26, 2003 Posted June 26, 2003 I was looking at one of the chair pads today and thinking if that were made of a kevlar reinforced material what a great defensive shield that would make.
tommarker Posted June 26, 2003 Posted June 26, 2003 in an old black belt article, tak kubota tells a story of taking off his shoes before disarming a guy with a knife... semi related I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
WhiteBelt Posted June 26, 2003 Author Posted June 26, 2003 Thumb tacks are great traps. You can take the protective cover off of diskettes and sharpen it too. The antenna off your office radio may substitute your lethal pencil.
SaiFightsMS Posted June 26, 2003 Posted June 26, 2003 How about a redesigned office desk chair? One with arms that come off and turn into battle sticks. Or straighted out and become pre loaded blowguns.
