Radok Posted May 23, 2003 Posted May 23, 2003 I have decided to do some research for when I get out of high school. Does anyone have information about MMA cometitions contracts? I would like to start out with smaller comps to get my foot in the door for bigger things. If you can't laugh at yourself, there's no point. No point in what, you might ask? there's just no point. Many people seem to take Karate to get a Black Belt, rather than getting a Black Belt to learn Karate.
Tombstone Posted May 23, 2003 Posted May 23, 2003 Find a good gym. After awhile you should take every chance you get to travel and compete even if you don't get paid. You'd be surprised how well known you can get from doing that. The real fun comes when you're actually invited to travel and compete. It's all up hill from there
Radok Posted May 23, 2003 Author Posted May 23, 2003 Thanks for the advice. I need all the help I can get. If you can't laugh at yourself, there's no point. AndrewGreen Posted May 23, 2003 Posted May 23, 2003 Don't expect to make a living at it, there is not a lot of money in it for anyone but the very top guys. Andrew Greenhttp://innovativema.ca - All the top martial arts news!
Radok Posted May 23, 2003 Author Posted May 23, 2003 I don't mean to try to make a living at it, just make enough money to pay for learning martial arts, it would kinda be like free lessons.
