SuperMinh Posted December 5, 2001 Posted December 5, 2001 Hi Babystefee, as people said before, a sidekick is meant to make contact with the outer part of your foot (aka the blade) or the heel. I can't figure how you can do a sidekick with your toes pointing upwards ... Anyway, practice it and it'll be one of your most reliable and powerful kick. The way you can do it is: -chamber the kick: lift your knee in front of you -rotate it to your side so that if you're kicking with right leg, your right side's facing your opponent (that's why it's called a side kick ain't it ?) -extend the leg. your toes should be pointing left if you're kicking with your right leg. Hope that helps...
SaiFightsMS Posted December 5, 2001 Posted December 5, 2001 So BabySteffee after all the good advice you have been given how are your side kicks coming? Do you think any one technique is helping you more than any other?
