superleeds Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 Well the problem is (in the states atleast) that someone could be armed....now, running in to a situation like that would, ehmm, suck. Read a book!
Sasori_Te Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 I have a question to stoke the fire. Let's say you walk up on someone being beaten badly. How do you know who is in the wrong? The person doing the beating may be in the right. They may be defending themselves. I would call the authorities but I don't believe I'd get involved unless someone's life was actually in immediate danger. A block is a strike is a lock is a throw.
Drunken Monkey Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 hmm defending yourself DOES NOT mean beating the otehr guy to a pulp. if all of your martial arts training has not taught you how to subdue without pounding the other guy to the ground then maybe you need more training. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
