mikS Posted November 29, 2003 Posted November 29, 2003 I really like the headbutt. My Dad, who's been teaching MA for quite some time, has some very good head work. I should practice head/elbow attacks. That sounds fun. A headbutt ffrom the gaurd? good luck with that
Cybren Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 I'd do what my older brother taught me. If it's a guy, i'd bite their nipple, and grab their balls. If they try to resit one, I'll do the other harder. If it's a female. Well...I wouldn't mind.
shotokanwarrior Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 well if I was standing and they tried to pull guard, I would go with them as hard and fast as I could, slamming their back and head on the street and following my head right into their breast bone like a ram. Where Art ends, nature begins.
blue26 Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 Depends, do I have hands or fingers free? Are my legs and arms restricted? But in general I was taught to grab and pull anything I could, even pulling a pinkie hurts and they will generally let go, but I would just do whatever the situation determined. It’s kind of hard to say exactly what I would do without being given a more specific situation. And head butting is pretty high up on the list, you just do what you have too to get away. WolverineGuy Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 My first reaction would be to pass the guard. If they're a skilled grappler, I'm looking for openings to elbow/knee them. If not, then I'd just use the BJJ/Judo that I know and find some way out of it without hurting the guy too bad. Drunken Monkey Posted December 20, 2003 Posted December 20, 2003 um, i know jack about grappling. what's a guard postion? post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
Warp Spider Posted December 20, 2003 Posted December 20, 2003 It's a position that almost all MMA fights seem to get into. An open invitation to be bitten, I'd say. Paladin - A holy beat down in the name of God!
