i do. i dunno if i'm the one they were reffering to or not; if not, it's nice to know another practicioner :karate: yes, it's very effective, with over 4,000 movements and 108 weapons. it incorporates punches, kicks, strikes, throws, joint locks, etc. all sorts of fun stuff to insure you have a life time of fun :D :D :D

Kick_azz I can't say from my own experience-just what I have read & heard but Hwa Rang Do sounds great for self defense. If had the chance (-& a dojang for it) I would like to take up Hwa Rang Do OR Hapkido as they seem more combat oriented.
