Are tae kwon do and northern shaolin kung fu similar? Could you please list their similarities and differences? And this isnt a vs forum because those arnt allowed anymore, but please feel free to say which you think is better. :brow:

I dont know, from what i see, that's about IT. Similarity on High Kicks. flying, leaping, etc....

 

Northen Kung fu also uses a lot of Long distance punches

i cant find any similarity between both.mainly all MA styles have ''high kicking''.and tae kwon do fighting lacks punches .its only kicking and kicking (no offense tae keon doists )...

ninjanurse , all martial arts have hand techniques,i meant that in a tae kwon do fight,u never see anyone throwing a punch on the other.its all abt kicking.on theother hand,northern shaolin styles use legs and hands in a fight.
