When I woke up this morning, I could hardly believe my ears when I heard the radio. My heart is broken for all of the people who died in the tragedies...it's impossible to put into words quite what I feel, other than shock, disbelief and horror that people can be so evil. I just heard that the Islamic Gihad (forgive the spelling) has taken responsibility and that they had planned this for many years. Our airports in Canada are also shut down however we are accepting incoming flights that were destined for the US. I can't believe this...I'm in shock. I know that alot of members here are from the States and I hope that you and your families are alright. What a tragedy. My heart goes out to all American Citizens...

If you think something small cannot make a difference - try going to sleep with a mosquito in the room.

Lori...I am here at work 1 hr. away from the World Trade Center...came to this site to get mind off of what is presently happening to our country. I am enroute to pick up my children as they are closing schools now. My family and friends are ok and accounted for but my prayers and thoughts go out to all those other people. This is a worldwide tradgedy ... not just for the United States.

I have seen the news over here in the UK and they say that they are gonna strike London next.I am particularly lucky in that I live quite a way away from london.

To everyone in the US.I send my condolencies to those who lost their lives in a sick scheme to try and cause world war three. My thoughts are with you all.

Thankyou

One other thing - everyone needs to get out and GIVE BLOOD. There is of course a huge shortage of blood and they will need as much as possible. Here in Canada, if you give blood it's guaranteed to be sent to the States, so please everyone here in North America - do it as soon as possible!!!!!!!

My prayers go out to all the families that have been affected by this terrible act of violence.

Kickbutt is right....GIVE BLOOD, the local Red Cross in your community will be more than happy to take your blood, as they will be helping supply the relief effort. GIVE BLOOD as it will be needed not only today, but over the next week in the relief effort.

Buddha Bless.

This whole thing is unbelievable I still am in a little bit of shock I guess we had come to see us Americans as a little 'unvulnerable' and now this. I visited New York about 2 years ago...and I can still remember the WTC it was an awesome sight from the top of the Empire State building and now it is gone...I wander what is next, is this the end or only the beginning? I am betting that there will be a lot of changes nationally here in the US and worldwide in airflight, government, economy, security...

Prayer is the best weapon we have right now, let's use it.

When they find out who was behind this, they should peal the skin off them and burn them! sorry for the term of words expression. They are cowards and have, shown how evil and cruel humans really can be!

Here in denmark, thousands of people have gathered at the US embasy to show their respect and kondolencies to the USA! And there are already being held memorials in churches for the people who have lost their lives! Iv'e lighted a candle in my window to show my respect, because this just cant be reality!
