I think it also encompasses defending yourself if you are attacked while seated. And that's about all I know about it; I hope we hear from a practitioner who can tell us more about this interesting subject.
KaratekaAikidoist Posted May 4, 2003 Posted May 4, 2003 I want to take it. A dojo that I go to has Iaido twice a month. Its the art of attacking while drawing your sword. But don't get me wrong, theres more than that. After you attack, you have "combos" I think. I was reading a book on it.

theswarm Posted May 5, 2003 Posted May 5, 2003 i wanted to try out this school that was teaching kendo and iaido but the iaido sword costs like 1008 dollars (AU) and the kendo armour is like 800 dollars
