Few of you might remember when I said I quit my gym and was taking a break. Well I've decided to start training again. Exept im not going back to my old gym. I've had my fun there and its time to move on. Now I'm searching for something "more". I've become interested in studying an art instead of always training for the ring. Starting Monday I'm going to every dojo in my city to watch classes and see what exactly goes on in each one. I'm sure I'll find something I like considering theres over 20 dojos around me.

Like my other post this doesn't really have much meaning. Just typing what I'm thinking and wondering if anyone else has ever thought this way.

i know what you mean. i did fitness kickboxing for a while and had been going to a gym for years, but it just seemed like i was missing something. i was conditioning my body, but i wasn't really learning anything. i've been much happier since i started TKD. good luck! :)

Many people hit a point where they realize the reason that they started training is not the reason the would like to continue. And that the style/art/gym they originally chose is no longer the right place for them to be.

If your not happy then you don't need to be doing it. Don't matter if it MA or anything else in life. Find what makes you happy and go with it.

Well today's Monday but it's going to be awhile before I can do it. I got hit pretty hard by tornadoes so I have to take care of my priorities first.

Hopefully I'll get to it eventually

Thanks. We didn't have any serious problems with the tornadoes to my home but the roads got hit bad and there's still alot of places without power. I should be able to visit some dojo's in a few days.
