Treebranch Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 If the school is a affiliated with Master Hatsumi, then it is Bujinkan and they should be teaching Togakure Ryu Ninpo Taijutsu which dates back 1000 years to it's origin. Don't believe what people say about Ninjutsu, they are just watching to many bad 80's movies, Like American Ninja and crap like that. If you see people doing spin kicks and round house kicks it's not Taijutsu. It is a great art, it is very effective and it covers everything. So if you want to learn weapons and to fight effectively take Budo Taijutsu which is only a part of Ninpo Taijutsu. If you want to be a well rounded Martial Artist, study Ninpo Taijutsu or else just study a bunch of different martial arts that interest you. Don't let the Ninja stigma scare you away, it's a great art.
