gheinisch Posted April 30, 2003 Author Share Posted April 30, 2003 We have no set time limits or such to test. Our Hanshi will give us target dates to shoot for. For intance we have another promotion coming up in November. A couple of weeks before that time he will have a list of students that he feels are ready to advance. You don't have to if you feel you may not be ready or if you would like to try and test you just have to get th OK from Hanshi. Your welcome to try, but no gaurantee you make it. He may also let you know your weak points to work on before promotions. He charges nothing for our tests and he buys the belts himself. He says "belts are earned not bought". The system seems to work well for us!
