1ONEfighting
I was wondering how many of you have actually had to use your skills in the street, and how each situation turned out. Did your training take over, or did you thrash like a first week white belt? Trainwreck Tiemeyerwishes he was R. Lee Ermey.
ko man
Many times mate and it usually always ends with my right cross, failing that biting and eye gouging work a treat. All the best.
Northren Ogre
I've been in a lot of fights, and I have lost very few. Most of the time I use simple techniques, headbutts, elbows and knees work wonders against those who never think of them. But most streetfights turn into a "ground 'em and pound 'em" situation, so not too many fancy techniques work out.....I mean, no one taps out in a streetfight, so go for the KO. http://prkickboxing.tripod.com
Kyle-san
I've been in very few streetfights, but have come out of them without a lot of punishment.

Why punch someone when their on the ground when you can just kick them
FlailingLimbs
I've uh, initiated a few... and woken up with a few shiners, and a broken tooth. ===================When cornered, kick 'em in the spetznats. If that doesn't work, run around acting like an epilept + flail your arms about while whizzin' in your pants, then fall down foaming at the mouth. They'll be so disgusted THEY will walk away from the fight....

Treebranch
Maybe 10 or so in the past, recently I'm pretty good at diffusing the situation by telling her how pretty she looks. Oh, you mean fist fights, yeah, like 10 or so. I used San Soo several times and it works nicely, it's scary when someone lands a front kick to your gonads, followed by a hammer blow to the nose. Most of the time, that works great. SoulAssassin
I grew up fighting. Basiclly most of my martial arts was ineffective. I mean most people fight without form. They not know how to fight so they improvise and swing away, throw rocks, bite, etc... You have to fight on the street in order to learn how to fight without using strictly martial arts. You have to incorperate both. Personally, I tried to use tang soo do and got my ass kicked. Then I start to fight a little dirty and incorperated it with tang soo do and I came out on top. Until I furtherd my training. Now I incorperate everything I know. Though, if you dont have to fight then dont. Its not worth it. For some people its the only thing they can do, or the only thing they know. It isnt worth it. I have a post on here explaining how my friend died. I used to fight weekly sometimes daily. Not a way to live. Now I only fight when needed. But if you think your superman read my other post and I hope none of this happens to you. -SoulAssassin"I aint gonna eat, I aint gonna sleep, aint gonna breath till I see what I wanna see and what I wanna see is you goto asleep, in the dirt permanently"
Treebranch
I have to older brothers that are both 5 to 6 years older than me. They used to beat the crap out of me almost every day. I had to learn to survive, and being sneaky and dirty was what worked. When I got in fights at school with kids my age, I would reck them, there punches didn't phase me. I think my brothers trained me well.
