benedictbm Posted April 17, 2003 Posted April 17, 2003 I just finished watching "Barbershop" and one of the characters said "All Rosa Parks did was sit her black *** down." i was wondering what you all think of that. I think that i mean its wrong but it isnt. he is entitled to his opnion but it was disrepectful.
SaiFightsMS Posted April 17, 2003 Posted April 17, 2003 What may sound very disrespectful to some of us is not always meant that way by the person that said it. Always try to take the context of where, when, who and why something was said. There are many ways to look at things and events.
benedictbm Posted April 29, 2003 Author Posted April 29, 2003 I respct the opinion but that is not how i feel. I think she did something outstanding and that like most people in history she was "at the right place at the right" if you could sa. I am not saying that her getting arrested was right.
King of Fighters Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 I never say the movie but i thought it looked good and i would like to see it.
