WhiteBelt Posted April 20, 2003 Posted April 20, 2003 I met somebody I knew from highschool, but we were never close friends. He told me that one of the few things he distinctly remembers from back in the day, was me backing him up against the school bullies (he was always one of the small, skinny types). That's something to be proud of; well, it made my day anyway.

focus102 Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Ironicaly I was assaulted the day after my first martial arts class. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time and I apparently witnessed something though I don't know what. I obviously had not yet acquired any self defense skills so I looked the attacker straight in the eye and yelled on the top of my lungs. In his momentary confusion I ran straight into the street in front of all the cars. My only advice to everyone is not to go into a dangerous place. "Nothing is impossible to the willing mind."
