Guest Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 My foot turns just enough to feel comfortable without overstressing my hip joints. You should note that if you ever tried rotating your supporting foot with your shoes on, it is much more difficult. It is unlikely that an attacker is going to wait for you to take your shoes off in an attack so you can properly rotate your foot when you kick him.
SaiFightsMS Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 Training in shoes on a regular basis gives you a much better feeling for pivoting on the heel of the support leg as the the motion for the kick begins.
