hobbitbob Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 Excellent reply. There have always been Starkadders at Cold Comfort Farm!
Sergeant1 Posted April 18, 2003 Posted April 18, 2003 IMO, to tell a Roku-Dan with a worn belt that it looks sloppy and he should get a new one would be highly dis-respectful. Likewise, to tell a Roku-Dan with a brand spankin' new belt that he should keep his old worn out belt on would be highly dis-respectful. Does anyone get where I'm going here?
renketsu Posted April 24, 2003 Posted April 24, 2003 I personally prefer the look of a black belt not a tattered grey one. When I bought a personalised belt I purposely chose a cotton belt (rather than silk) so that it wouldn't fade and turn grey. I intend to replace the belt when I next grade (to include dan stripes) but in the mean time, it if fades I will replace it. Andy.
