robodjs Posted April 12, 2003 Posted April 12, 2003 What style do you think best covers any weak points krav maga has?
TJS Posted April 12, 2003 Posted April 12, 2003 I dont think it has many "Weak" spots but you can always learn more from specific stlyes.. for example Boxing is always going to give you better hands Muay Thai is going to give you better kicks/knees BJJ is going to make you a better ground fighter. it really does cover just about every range of the fight but you can always go to a stlye that specalizes at that range and improve in it.
Kensai Posted April 12, 2003 Posted April 12, 2003 I agree with TJS. Pick one area that you really like, ie grappling and then go for that. Best of luck.
robodjs Posted April 15, 2003 Author Posted April 15, 2003 I would like to become better at grappling, but i don't have any BJJ places near me. Would reguler jujitsu work?
TJS Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 I would like to become better at grappling, but i don't have any BJJ places near me. Would reguler jujitsu work? any judo? or even wrestling with TJJ alot dpends on the school and how its taught.
Karateka_latino Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 A Traditional Jujitsu school may improve your wrist lock, throwing and locking techniques. That's what most of TJJ schools teach. I share the above opinion that If you want to improve your ground grappling, look for Judo or wrestling schools. Sambo helps too.
