Greetings!

Need information concerning the proper hip and shoulder rotation for boxing(throwing jab, hooks etc.)

Usually hips and shoulders move together, inline with each other...but this is only my experience with boxing, not a professional statement. :)

Hips and shoulders should rotate in that order. However, there is more involved than just hips and shoulders.

remember your feet turn and move as well when throwing punches.

Pivot on your lead leg for a left hook and rear leg for a right hook etc.

also, make sure your defensive front leg is in 'sync' with your front arm.

you throw effective punches with whole body and mainly the hip, shoulder muscles. the punches should flow into one efficient movement. there must be use of acceleration into the punch.
