SaiFightsMS Posted April 12, 2003 Posted April 12, 2003 White belt is a beginner rank. In some schools you put on your gi and white belt from the day you get your gi. In other schools you have to test your knowledge of some basics to earn the right to wear your white belt.
SaiFightsMS Posted April 14, 2003 Posted April 14, 2003 My primary style is shotokan. In that I am nidan. In bojitutsu and shito ryu I am shodan.

AndrewGreen Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 No, no, no. You guys have it all wrong. Washing your belt is fine, washing your jock strap is what washes away all your accomplishments Andrew Greenhttp://innovativema.ca - All the top martial arts news!
karatekid1975 Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 LOL. It's a little off topic, but it was funny. Laurie F

mArTiAl_GiRl Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 Well, I'm an orange belt, soon I'll get my green stripe. Actually, I should have that green stripe right now, the problem is that I was ill that day when it was grading at my Dojo. And it has happened pretty many times, one reason is that I changed karate style, second is that I moved from one country to another and third is that I was ill. What a pity...... has it ever happened to you too? So I should have a higher belt. Kill is love
