tkdrocks Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 how do you guy or what do you guys do when someone does a haymaker punch the street fighter punch beacuse in a real fight no one is going to do a step through punch (karate punch) so in our dojo we pratice with both types of punching In this situation, I have used an outer forearm block. In some cases this may dislocate the shoulder of the opponent thus ending the fight before it starts. 2nd Degree Black ITA Tae Kwon Do
yamesu Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Quickly perform the 19th Kuji-in, ninja hand symbol and dissapear in a puff of smoke, only to re-appear instantaniously, standing on top of your opponents head. "We did not inherit this earth from our parents. We are borrowing it from our children."
Snakeeel Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 We really don't block punches. I'd go under or around it then do my thing, which with a guy like that can be just about anything I want.
ShotokanKid Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 I would say stepping back or ducking "What we do in life, echoes in eternity.""We must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."
