tofu Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 I know some runners who shave their legs to psych them selves up to run faster. Maybe if I shaved my legs my punches would get faster too.

Using that logic you'd have to shave your ARMS. The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. -Lao-Tse
tofu Posted April 25, 2003 Posted April 25, 2003 No they don't. Why would you think that ? No they don’t run? I assure you they do. The guys I’m talking about were on full track scholarship at the university I went to, and that’s hard to do if you don’t run.
Chi-Sai Posted April 26, 2003 Posted April 26, 2003 LOL! But seriously, when you have to use athletic tape on your skin, you definitely don't want any hair! OUCH! But some of the grapplers I know do shave for the reasons of breaking out of holds, etc.
aes Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 i think , it's gay... I don't need hair on my body to prove my masculinity. 43 Years oldBlue Belt (7th Kyu) Shorin-ryuRoberts Karate
rb Posted April 28, 2003 Posted April 28, 2003 cyclists do it all the time. Some do it for the look while others do it to aid with healing if they take a fall. A mat of hair and clotted blood can get a little gross.
Stold Posted April 28, 2003 Posted April 28, 2003 This is hilarious. ^____^ I trim my leg hair because, well, it's long. Inch long leg hair gets in the way of a lot of things, so I trim it to about a centimeter. I don't know how it is where you guys live, but where I'm at, a girl will usually laugh at a guy with silky smooth legs. They say it just feels wrong.
hobbitbob Posted April 29, 2003 Posted April 29, 2003 I trim elsewhere, but not legs........ There have always been Starkadders at Cold Comfort Farm!
