AIKIDO is a japanese martial art often confused with hapkido due to it's similar name and oriental origins. aikido was delveloped as a non-violent method of defense stressing non-resistance, joint manipulation, and the study of ki energy.

 

HAPKIDO is the way of coordinated power. non-competitive korean martial art which stresses non-resistance, circular motion, and a strong kicking and striking techniques.

nice way to tone that down rush..hapkido is really a nasty form of self defense....almost all the moves are to cause extreme damage to an attacker...no pulling of anything here..one of the few korean arts to remain untouched by sport competition or influence... :smile:
