unknown
i got my first speeding ticket today. i was doing 75 KM per hour in a 60 KM per hour zone. i wasnt pulling a mike schumacher or anything but the cop gave me a break. he told me i shoulda gotten a $150 fine and 4 points on my license but he gave me a $50 fine with zero points on my license so i dont have to fight it in court....i just gotta pay the fine. that is fine by me! its amazing how far a little respect and courtesy towards the officer who pulled you over gets you... just admit that you were wrong and say your "yes sirs/ma'am's" and "thank yous" and you well get back alot in return!!!! omnifinite
Yep. Police are ultimately your friends when you aren't someone bent on destroying the good things in the world. 1st Dan HapkidoColored belts in Kempo and Jujitsu

SaiFightsMS
The attitude you display will affect many things. Just about everyone will display more respect to you when you show them respect and proper deference. That is something that has got lost along the way. Everyone is just in too much of a hurry today to display respect and deference to those the encounter along the way. Just think about how a cashier in a store reacts to you when you give them proper respect and interact with them in a pleasant way.

Kung Fu Hamster
You just gotta make sure you're nice. They probably have to put up with: "I wasn't going to fast" and "Oh! **** you!". Stuff like that. So if you're being nice then they might be a bit relieved.... Everybodies Going Kung Fu Fighting! Yah Hoocha! LMAO
BlueDragon1981
In America a cop that pulls over a women is much more likely to give her a break than a male. That is bull crap if you ask me. My sister was going 55 in a 35 and got a warning. I was going 60 in a 55 and got a $100 ticket. The first time I was ever stopped. No warning ever for me. I also got a fine for having studded tires 1 day after they were suppose to be off. I have no respect for the cops around here because they do not respect anyone. They act like arogant a@##$%#. In small towns women get much less tickets than males. Specially teen males.
Athorn4941
I have about 100 or so traffic tickets about 90% of them are for going 1 mph over the speed limit. Had my car searched about 10 times. Guess thats what I deserve since I live in a small town and being a different race than 98% of the people that live here. Oh well life goes on.
