Kaju_influenced Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 it could very much be a good mix, its about what u think will fullfill u as a martial artists thats what is important. Kali is a very good system concentrating on weapons i.e rattan stick, knife aswell and so on and so forth. Try it out u might enjoy it KEEP TRAINING AND ALWAYS WORK HARD AT IT! "Sweat more in the dojo, bleed less in the street"Kajukenbo fighters axiom.

delta1 Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 The Phillipino Martial Arts are a god compliment to any style. They are flexable and fill in the holes or weaknesses in your application. It works angles and allows you to transition from small to large circles to stacato and broken rythm. They do a lot of joint locks with weapons, so it would give you another perspective on how the principles of your art transfer. I'd say try it with a good instructor and see if it will benifit you. My guess is it will. Freedom isn't free!
