mouko_yamamoto Posted September 13, 2003 Posted September 13, 2003  I haven't seen either one, but I don't think I'm missing much. Tang Soo Do/Tae Kwon Do....Oh yeah, and unofficially...KENJUTSU"There are five possible operations for any army. If you can fight, fight; if you cannot fight, defend; if you cannot defend, flee; if you cannot flee, surrender; if you cannot surrender, die." ~ Sima Yi
Drunken Monkey Posted September 13, 2003 Posted September 13, 2003 and compared to the films of van damme, seagal, norris? last time i checked, their films aren't that successful... as for jet li, how many of the moves he does in his films look like they could actually hurt someone? jump, spin spin, tap... how many of us here actually like jet li films for the "realistic" martial arts? and sano, you've stopped making sense in your sentences again. what is "former pro wrestler in training"? post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
sano Posted September 13, 2003 Posted September 13, 2003 because that is what pro wrestlers would call me because the instructor said that if i walked around saying i'm a pro wrestler i would be in trouble it's a tradition type of thing. just like if you got into a pro wrestling ring and touch the ropes you would get the crap kicked out of you because only students and wrestlers are allowed to touch the ropes it's stupid traditon. falcon kick!!!
Drunken Monkey Posted September 13, 2003 Posted September 13, 2003 how can you be a "former pro wrestler in training"? either you are pro or you are not. there is no former pro in training. basically, what you are saying is that you did some wrestling. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
sano Posted September 14, 2003 Posted September 14, 2003 they call me a trainee and do not train anymore so that make me a former trainee. falcon kick!!!
Drunken Monkey Posted September 14, 2003 Posted September 14, 2003 but in no way a pro. couldn't you have just said that you did some wrestling? why did you have to try to make it sound better than it was? like i keep saying... ...kids... post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
Raminhos Posted September 14, 2003 Posted September 14, 2003 Well if he is a former pro wrestler in training it means that he saw to many WWF fights , with Hulk Hogan and Sid Vicious... I'm sorry Sano it's just a joke... no harm done ... But I don't agree when you say that Seagal, Van Damme or Chuck tell a story when they are fighting... and if you remember Steven Seagal does Aikido a self-defense martial art so he is not offensive... but amazing with the arm locks and other things... and other thing: only high kicks and whell kicks are not impressive it should have other things like in jackie movies or Jet Li or Bruce Lee... Oh! I remeber something... in my country I see, in Blockbuster, movies with Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Chow Yun Fat, Bruce Lee, Van Damme but I don't see any with Ernie Reyes Jr...!!!!! Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless, like water...
sano Posted September 14, 2003 Posted September 14, 2003 you had to make fun of ernie reyes didn't you. falcon kick!!!
Drunken Monkey Posted September 14, 2003 Posted September 14, 2003 i think he's stating a fact. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
battousai16 Posted September 15, 2003 Posted September 15, 2003 i dunno, wasn't teenage mutant ninja turtles II: secret of the ooz a block buster? he was in that, wasn't he? "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
