But Steven kept pushing the old man around until Gene just couldn't take it anymore. Sometimes an arrogant person needs to be humbled.. but Seagal is beyond help, he is still a very arrogant and nasty person. He has been known to purposely hurt his stunt-men actors in movies, punching them in the face, tossing them and missing the landing mats and torquing the wrist locks. I used to, in many avenues in life, especially arrogant, violent individuals', go out of my way to do just that -- humble them. However, in those efforts, over time, I believe they will be humbled by their own actions, without my involvement. This also saves court time. That's not to say though, that if someone needs to be stopped in an action that is harmful to someone, because they think they are "tough", that I won't get involved. I just let them have at it, if they truly need to such in such a manner to get over their little problems with their self esteem, unless it's needed that I do get involved on a physical level. There's simply too any idiot's in this world and none of us have that kind of time, but if the situation called for it, so be it. You have to approach if the proper way, or people will think you're the arrogant one, a bully or going around challenging people, simply for defending yourself or other's -- I've had that happen to me personally. It doesn't affect me, but it can get annoying and it's amazing how many people are dense enough to take things the wrong way or out of context and only confuse themselves. For those clear reasons and such as if this man is how he's rumoured to be, then I can only chuckle about it. Cheers! Brooks Posted June 29, 2001 Posted June 29, 2001 How can you possibly talk about Martial Art movie stars without mentioning Don"The Dragon"Wilson. He is the only true fighter on the screen.
Patrick Posted June 30, 2001 Posted June 30, 2001 Don't be too hard on us, I a personally have never heard of him. thaiboxerken Posted July 2, 2001 Posted July 2, 2001 Cuz Don Dragon's' movies are boring. He's an ok kickboxer, but he still doesn't admit his defeats in thailand. Just kick 'em, they'll understand.- Me Apprentice Instructor under Guro Inosanto in Jun Fan Gung Fu and Filipinno Martial arts.Certified Instructor of Frank Cucci's Linxx system of martial arts.
Apollo Posted July 3, 2001 Posted July 3, 2001 Don Wilson acted in horrible B-class movies, that I did not enjoy one bit. But a guy has to make a living.
Karateka_latino Posted July 7, 2001 Posted July 7, 2001 I don't like Wilson's movies.. they are BORING!!!. I don't know why he's making movies on the first place.
thaiboxerken Posted July 7, 2001 Posted July 7, 2001 Don makes me laugh in his movies when he has his shirt off and is trying to flex. He is such a skinny little twirp. If I was that skinny, I would never take my shirt off.. even for sex. That little guy is gonna bust a vein as intense as he tries to flex. Is he supposed to be intimidating? Just kick 'em, they'll understand.- Me Apprentice Instructor under Guro Inosanto in Jun Fan Gung Fu and Filipinno Martial arts.Certified Instructor of Frank Cucci's Linxx system of martial arts.
Karateka_latino Posted July 7, 2001 Posted July 7, 2001 I watched an interview of Don about his movies and he said he have been focus his training in more flexibility and weight training.. weight training??? I mean.. LOL.
