Actually some shotokan schools also offer a kobudo program. How do I know? My school was one. We did bo first all year round then rotated a secondary weopon every year. For secondary weapons we did sai, tonfa and nunchaku.

 

Many who are into traditional weapons claim that Shureido weapons are the best.
