Withers M.A.A. Posted April 1, 2003 Posted April 1, 2003 Those were the best movies... 2nd Degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and Tae Kwon Do. 1997 NASKA competitor-2nd place Nationally in Blackbelt American Forms. Firearms activist!
MovieSeeker Posted April 13, 2003 Posted April 13, 2003 IMHO, if you have seen "Under Siege 2", you can save some money NOT buying "Derailed". I'm sorry nobody have warned me and now it' too late . But, if you want to save time, you can see "Replicant", which has 2 Van Damme at once. I really miss the "Timecop" Van Damme.
omnifinite Posted April 14, 2003 Posted April 14, 2003 Wow, Van Damme has been in two movies containing two of him? The guy really likes his camera time I guess . 1st Dan HapkidoColored belts in Kempo and Jujitsu
MovieSeeker Posted April 14, 2003 Posted April 14, 2003 Well, there are at least 3 movies with Van Double Damme ( Double Impact, Replicant, TimeCop). It's funny, in "TimeCop" he is helping his 10 years younger copy. He's on his side. Two Van Damme but only one (common ) wife... I think the idea is: some like the possitive character while other - the neggative. Being simultaneously both of them, people will like Van Damme no matter what But...that's nothing compared to 4 of Michael Keaton in "Multiplictiy"... Or Double Jet Li in ( ironnically named ) "The One"
Karateka_latino Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 Poor Jean Claude, when i watched "The Colony" and "Knock Off", In which he even tried to copy jackie chan's movie style fights, i felt really sorry for him. He must quit on been the lead on his movies.. maybe if he just try to be humble enough and accept a supporting role on a jackie chan or Jet Li... well, i guess there's a posibility that none wants to work with him.. By the way.. In "Maximun Risk" he ALSO played twins so that makes it 4 times Jean Claude have played two roles in the same movie.
Icetuete Posted June 21, 2003 Posted June 21, 2003 Poor Jean Claude, when i watched "The Colony" and "Knock Off", In which he even tried to copy jackie chan's movie style fights, i felt really sorry for him. Colony sucked - didnt see knock off. there was this film with van damme i really like - alas i forgot the title
YoungGrasshopper Posted July 27, 2003 Posted July 27, 2003 Haha...Van Damme inspired me most in martial arts when I was a kid. Still does. I think his technique is superb, makes him more of an ideal amrtial artists. I don't consider Jackie Chan as a martial artist more then he is a comedian. But yah I do enjoy his movies a lot .
Shorin Ryuu Posted July 27, 2003 Posted July 27, 2003 I don't know...I really liked kickboxer and bloodsport, but that was about it. Martial Arts Blog:http://bujutsublogger.blogspot.com/
MawashiGeri60 Posted July 27, 2003 Posted July 27, 2003 if van dammes come out with a new movie i hope it comes out like "bloodsports" it was one of the best Martial artist movies ive seen at the time .. it kinda did inspire me to join the martial arts .. so i hope he comes out with a M.A movie that is tournament wise with hardcore rules that would be NIceE
