I am new and am planning on beginning in Martial arts. My city is not huge so I am limited in the styles. The best schools in my city have Kempo, Soo Bahk Do, they also have Taekwondo but this school is geared for children and not adults. There is almost no adult classes, but the couple they have are day classes when i am at work.

I would like to hear what people think that know on these styles

Never heard of the Soo Bahk Do style, so I'd say take the other one, more famous ... but I could be wrong :) Try to see both dojos, talk to the instructors, see what's all about. The place you like better is the one for you.

KEEP TRAINING AND ALWAYS WORK HARD AT IT!

If i were you, id go for the Kempo. I dont know alote about Kempo, but ive herd its like a mixtrue of karate and kung fu, so it should mix power attacks and fluid movements, so it would be well rounded and a good art to take.

i think you shoud call the instructors and see what they say. also go in and watch classes at both places. talk to the instrucotrs about the MA as well.
