Hey I just wanted to take a quick survery here. I wanted to see what kind of martial arts people do and how long they've been doing them.

g. Judo (formerly)

i. Tai Chi, Qi Gong - took classes from my Sensei and also a college course

3. What is your current rank in your art(s)?

3rd Kyu - Japanese Goju Ryu

Orange (not sure of the kyu as he didn't give me a certificate, just a belt) in Judo

Never been graded in Jujitsu; it is just for fun

4. What is your favorite martial art, and why?

While I've stuck with karate all this time, I must confess I am interested in all of the martial arts, and go to any seminars I can :D

1. How long have you been involved in the martial arts?

8 years in training, 18 years learning about them.

2. What martial art(s) do you practice in?(specify style as well as art)

I currently practice Aki Jujitsu.

3. What is your current rank in your art(s)?

Shotokan Karate - 1st Kyu Brown Belt

ITF Taekwon Do - 4th Gup Blue Belt

Aki Jujitsu - White Belt

Wing Chun Kung Fu - Yellow Belt

Ketto Ryu Jujutsu - 6th Kyu Yellow Belt

Karate and Taekwon Do were both done when I was younger, but I quit for personal reasons. I took Wing Chun for 4 months to see if I liked it, but decided it wasn't for me. I took Ketto Ryu Jujutsu for 4 months in order to continue practicing Jujutsu until I was able to return home.

Aki Jujitsu is the art I'm focusing on now, and the one I'll stick with.

4. What is your favorite martial art, and why?/quote]

Aki Jujitsu, because I find it to be a very complete (and enjoyable) art for my purposes.
