Sanda vs Boxing

Hi, everybody.

 

Between 1998 - 2000, there are competition

 

between Chinese Sanda and Boxing.

 

I remember 1999 event was held in USA.

 

In the game

 

Boxing can use only punch and counter throw

 

while Sanda can use punch, kick & throw

 

Does anybody know about the organization of USA side?

 

Surely, I think they are not WBA, WBC or IBF.

 

Who are they???

 

I was impressed a lot by a guy called Louis Wood.

 

3 win 3 year by using only punching and counter throw.

 

Does anyone know about his background???
