Is there any single correct sequence: I would think: white, yellow, orange, green, blue, brown, then black The school I am in now seems really weird, in order: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, brown then black. chh Posted March 23, 2003 Share Posted March 23, 2003 Yeah, it's completely arbitrary. The 2 belt system makes the most sense to me as well, I just don't see what use the colors are. My school does use them, but I'm glad there are only a few: yellow/green/brown/black (adults, anyway--the kids have way more, I can't even keep track of what rank each color corresponds to).
