I'm a brown belt in karate and a champion high school wrestler...I like fighting on the ground more than standing.(I'm still a good standing fighter). There is this kid in my high school is is not as smart as me and is out of shape, hes about 165 pounds 6 foot 3 and I'm two years younger than him at 17 and I'm 6 foot even and 132 pounds. I want to know whats the best aproach to a possible fight with this man. since he is so much taller what should I do??????

ps.I've tried every possible "backing away"from this fight but hes going to attack me any day now.

Well do absolutley everything you can do to avoid it. But if it does happen play the defense, maybe hit him a couple times to let him know that you can hurt him if you want to.

P.S.

I say avoid it beacuse if where you live is at all like the place I live then one fight will lead to the other to the other until is escalades to something you can't handle, i.e. guns, knives, all of the jumping you at once.

shoot for a double leg, slam him on his back, take the mount and reign down blows untill it's over

thats assuming all his friends arent around..

if you are a good wrestler and he is not then you should dominate him like that.

if you dont want to go to the ground then try to hit first, hit hard and end it..

untrained fighters will drop their hands when you kick low...throw a kick at his nuts or a round kick at his thigh/knee, even if you dont land it follow up by a hard right to the nose, from then he should be fair game.
