Elbo Posted March 22, 2003 Posted March 22, 2003 There is an instructor a convenent distance from where I live, and I was just wondering what sort of advice anyone can offer as to what it's like and what is involved in learning it. I am of fairly light build if that makes any difference. Thanks. *baaa*
dark_adjudication Posted March 22, 2003 Posted March 22, 2003 It would be good for a light build but it really depends what you want to take a MA for. For learning quick selfe defence techniques I would go for Krav Maga or Jujitsu. Mok Gar will be a long term comittment to gain the full benefit from the art. Here is a web sight I found on it. http://www.mok-garkungfu.co.uk/ "There is only one tactical principle which is not subject to change; it is, 'To use the means at hand to inflict the maximum amount of wounds, death, and destruction on the enemy in the minimum amount of time.' " Gen. George S. Patton Jr.
