Ok. interesting.

There are too Minakami Karate Dojo's in the world, one in USA and one in Sweden, where I practised. But now I live in Estonia and that's why I'm so curious about Minakami and this style.

SaiFightMS, that's cool that you have also done Hayashi-ha Shito-Ryu.

My estonian instructor wants to know, what are the differences between different Shito-Ryu styles, like Tani-ha Shito-Ryu, Motobu-Ha Shito-Ryu, Hayashi-ha and so on....

Anyone knows? (I know too, but maybe you know more)

Where in the US is his dojo? Is it Washington? IF so, he is pretty good at what he does. I have not trained Shito-ryu for a few years. I seem to recall some principals of the trade if you have specific questions...... Edited by brickman

I'm sorry, I don't know where his Dojo is, but yes, he is pretty good at what he does.

Could you tell me, what do you most practise in Shito-Ryu?

Do you practise katas in some special ways or has Shito-Ryu it's own principals for example in Kumite and so on...

I know myself too, but I wanna know more, because there might be something I don't know yet.
