Which technique works best for you and which is your favourite if they are not the same.

 

Mine is fairly boring and is the left hook. just that im good at it and can make it work well for me in sparring as it is fast and strong.

Hmmmm......... I don't really have any favourite technique.......but Shuto Uke works best for me and I guess it's my favourite one too. (I mean, the shito-ryu's shuto uke, not wado-ryu).

ops, sorry. I thought you do karate.

 

It's a bit difficult to explain what Shuto Uke is, but it's a block with the hand while you have the cat stance.

I don't know the name but mines the reverse punch, simply because I don't remmber how to do anything else.

Fair enough I see like most westerners we favour using our hands. In thailand its the feet or legs. Games like tag are played with the feet by kids and not with hands

What about Aikido? Aikido dosn't use it's feet at all and it comes from the East.

What is Shuto Uke i dont do karate so i dont understand the original names
