Well after I'm done with shudokan and goju-ryu karate I want to take a grappling art. What does everyone think of Judo?

I'm going to move this to grabbling arts. I think you will get more help there, than in the general arts.

Anyways, I think Judo is cool. It does lots of breakfalls first. Then joint locks, take-downs, ground work, ect. It's a pretty cool art.

After you "finsh" Goju and Shudokan? How many life times are you expecting?!

Judo is great.... its as simple as that.

Its main up of 2 areas.

taichi waza, standing throws, locks and take downs.

Ne waza- ground work, comprising locks, arm bars, leg submissions, chokes and hold downs.

*sighs* I didn't mean it as I was going to quit. I meant when I get to a satisfactory level of skill I'm going to take Judo as well as shudokan and goju-ryu

satisfactory?

Another word that can be argued. But other than using brow beating somantics (sp?).....

Judo will completement the 2 striking arts well.

Well I mean when I get to the point where I can do the karate classes without totally killing myself I want to take judo.

Bk, I left the "shadow post" in General Martial Arts for others to see, but put it where YOU would get more help :) Or you could see where I moved the post, so it wouldn't be "lost."

I hope you are getting more help than I could give (my reason for moving your post) ;)
