jiu-jitsu fighter Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 Heres a crazy submission combo that one of the brazilian top team members taught me at a seminar. hope you like it. from guard, you use an armbar, the guy pulls his arm out, go to omoplata, its not working, keep control of the arm, and fall back (onto your back) and you have a triangle waiting for you. 1. armbar, guy pulls out his arm 2. omoplata 3. keep the arm, go back onto your back, (with him in your guard) and there will be a triangle choke waiting for you. enjoy "When we go to the ground, you are in my world, the ground is the ocean, I am the shark, and most people don't even know how to swim"
Karateka_latino Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 Yes, A submission that can be performed by Highly skilled ground fighters as the Brazilian Top Team are. I can't see myself doing something like that yet. lol Im still wayyyyyyyyyyyy out of there league. lol!
jiu-jitsu fighter Posted March 16, 2003 Author Posted March 16, 2003 man i've been doing bjj for six months and i can do it with ease. once you learn the 3 techniques seperately, you put them together. a child can do that. Ka0ticSH Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 yea thats true .. one of the best ways ive experienced in learning BJJ techniques is to spar with someone but not full on force .. not even half effort .. just being able to flow on the ground .. its kinda hard to explain .. im not saying if he gets you into an armbar let him and tap out .. naw .. its basically just flowing with eachothers moves so that you can get used to setting up for a submission or a sweep, etc. Kinda confusing huh :\ "Accept what is useful. Karateka_latino Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 I'm a begginer level in grappling, everything seems hard when you read it. lol
