monkeygirl Posted March 26, 2003 Posted March 26, 2003 Might be spring break prices..? 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.
KickChick Posted March 26, 2003 Posted March 26, 2003 Well yes and no.... If you are flying out on high peak season the fare will be considerably higher than the usual but you must also remember that the airlines are scaling back service at certain airports.... so less flights- higher prices. You may do better if you book a package deal or charter flight but don't expect big savings on regularly scheduled flights or at top hotels as the high summer season revs into gear. For example, San Diego-to-Maui airfare on June 1 is about $600; book a package deal, and you can get there for $380 (I suppose though you will be going from LA to Lihue, Kauai... via United Airlines(??) If you do a pkg. be aware that the lowest-priced packages carry restrictions. You'll probably have to travel midweek; accommodations are basic and located blocks from the beach.
omnifinite Posted March 26, 2003 Posted March 26, 2003 Supposedly I'm going to Alaska this summer. But I don't know yet what part or what there is to see there. Any suggestions? 1st Dan HapkidoColored belts in Kempo and Jujitsu

niel0092 Posted March 31, 2003 Posted March 31, 2003 Just got back from Vegas... Oh, man is that place something. I played roulette, blackjack, slots, and took Blue's advice on taking a craps class. Uck, it was an hour of statistics and probability. Not for me, but at least now I know how to play. So how did I do gambling? Well, I broke even. Unless of course you count how much I ate at the buffet. I must have made money there judgeing by the stack of crab legs and shrimp husks that were left over (burp).
