Being able to take what is usefull and discard what is useless and add to what will ultimately be ur own.

 

However its a changing world i think the best martial art is the art of adapting i.e Kensai said aikido in later stages of development would be invincible,agreed but what if ur opponent points a 9mm at u and not from a close distance...BANG..... your dead, but i do agree aikido is a beautifull and very meaningfull discipling.
