SaiFightsMS Posted October 30, 2001 Posted October 30, 2001 :???:I have seen some interesting opinions on this topic. :karate:I think the best weapon is the one you are most comfortable using. :uhoh:Oh, and if you mean a weapon you can carry one that is not illegal.
Rambo2001 Posted October 31, 2001 Posted October 31, 2001 a good weapon is one that you can walk up to someone with and batter them over the head with until they are lying on floor bleeding and cant fight back...well thats my theory anyway arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
SaiFightsMS Posted November 1, 2001 Posted November 1, 2001 I have done varying amounts of work with: bo, sai, tonfa, nunchaku, cane, and kuboton. :???:Has anyone done much work with the cane.
kicker Posted November 4, 2001 Posted November 4, 2001 well Sai it depends what kind of cane the ones to help you to walk or if there is another one!!..lol when you do your best it`s going to show. "If you watch the pros, You will learn something new"
SaiFightsMS Posted November 5, 2001 Posted November 5, 2001 Kicker I really meant a walking cane. I have seen some of the CaneMasters material. The cane seems to have been considered as a weapon to train with only in Hapkido. I am much more likely to have a cane with me than a bo or something like nunchaku. Actually I use one when I am outside. The uneven surfaces of the sidewalks tend to throw me off balance a bit at time. No one locally seems to have much interest in the cane as a weapon of self defence. So, I know I will be pretty much on my own. Any ideas opinions anyone?
