:???:I have seen some interesting opinions on this topic.

:karate:I think the best weapon is the one you are most comfortable using.

:uhoh:Oh, and if you mean a weapon you can carry one that is not illegal.

 a good weapon is one that you can walk up to someone with and batter them over the head with until they are lying on floor bleeding and cant fight back...well thats my theory anyway

arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

:wave:I have done varying amounts of work with: bo, sai, tonfa, nunchaku, cane, and kuboton.

:???:Has anyone done much work with the cane. :???:

Kicker I really meant a walking cane. I have seen some of the CaneMasters material.

The cane seems to have been considered as a weapon to train with only in Hapkido. I am much more likely to have a cane with me than a bo or something like nunchaku. Actually I use one when I am outside. The uneven surfaces of the sidewalks tend to throw me off balance a bit at time.

No one locally seems to have much interest in the cane as a weapon of self defence. So, I know I will be pretty much on my own.

Any ideas  opinions  anyone?
