TKDLadyInSC Posted February 2, 2003 Posted February 2, 2003 In a fight I would go for a ridgehand or a knifehand to the side of the neck. It's hard to miss and very effective. Have a friend try it on you, not to hard. Your knees will buckle and you will see stars. 1st Degree Black BeltTaeKwonDo
Blade13 Posted February 2, 2003 Posted February 2, 2003 Groin! lol Thats always a good pressure point. Aside from that, I'd go for the eyes. Neither of those are really pressure points, but really good targets. For pressure points I'd go for hitting them on the side of the leg on.. that nerve. lol It will make it feel like you broke their leg, but they will be unharmed. Or.. you could just actually break the leg by kicking it harder. heh.. That works too.
monkeygirl Posted February 3, 2003 Posted February 3, 2003 I wouldn't say there's any ONE pressure point that is the absolute easiest. There are a few easy ones, but what is important is what's easy for YOU. Personally, I like to pinch a tiny bit of skin on the inside of the upper thigh. Hold it for awhile and it sends a jolt through the whole body. It's pretty hard to miss, and is usually pretty available during groundfighting situations. Anyway, that's my personal favorite. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.
G95champ Posted February 3, 2003 Posted February 3, 2003 Im with Monkeygirls here. PP are differant on everyone. Things to look at are size, muscle mass, if the person has broke or hurt that sport before. Some people are "dead" in places and other will cry like a baby. So there is no eaisy one. The ones everyone listed are good. However I agree with Blade that the Groin should bring anyone down if needed. LOL... (General George S.
