Thanks for the link kick chick. I went to a Joe Lewis seminar about 2 yrs ago in knoxville, tn. He is amazing and I would recommend anyone having the chance to work with to do it. It is well worth the money.

Oh I didn't bother reading it, I first saw it during the morning, and well yeah I am lazy during the morning.

He actually began his training while stationed in Okinawa. Got his black belt there. There is a story about one of the first tournaments he entered when he first got back from Okinawa.

 

He went to watch the tournament but someone noticed his gymbag and his hands and talked him into entering. He won thus beginning a long career in martial arts history in this country.
